I use cartridges now. Will Oxley feel strange?
The pivoting head may feel familiar, but a different razor can take some adjustment. Start with light pressure and allow time to get used to the feel.
Does Oxley Razor 01 use one blade or two?
You can load one blade or two — the choice is yours. Both fit in the same razor head. Follow the loading instructions for your chosen setup and shave with light pressure.
What is the razor made of?
Oxley Razor 01 is made from 304 stainless steel. Keep the razor and simply replace the blades when they get dull.
Do I need to learn a special safety-razor angle?
The head pivots as you guide the handle over your face. You still need light pressure, careful strokes and time to get used to how the razor feels.
Can I cut myself?
Yes. Cuts and irritation are possible with either blade setup. Prepare your skin, use light pressure and follow the loading and shaving instructions.
What if my neck usually gets red or irritated?
Comfort varies with your skin, hair, preparation and technique. Use shaving cream or gel and light pressure. Neither blade setup guarantees an irritation-free shave.
Can I shave my jaw and neck?
Yes. Guide the handle over your cheeks, jaw and neck as the head pivots. Take care around contours and give yourself time to learn the razor.
What blades does it use, and do I have to buy Oxley refills?
Oxley uses single-edge razor blades: small, replaceable metal blades with one shaving edge. You can use Oxley refills or compatible single-edge shaving blades from other brands in the same size and shape. Replace just the blades when they get dull and keep the razor. Cartridge refills do not fit.

What is the 30-day performance guarantee?
Try your Oxley razor for 30 days from delivery. If you’re not happy with the shave, contact us within those 30 days and return the razor for a refund. We must receive the razor before approving and processing your refund. Defects are handled separately with a free replacement, without limiting your statutory rights.
